Feeling much more Slovakian than ever

Hi there.

I owe you an explanation at the very beginning since the title might have made you think what the hell am I going to say. I would like to share with you how I feel about my country, about being a Slovakian citizen and so on.

Let me say this. I am very, truly proud that I was born in the most beautiful piece of land. I was born in a small town, in the middle of nature and that my friends, is the best thing what has ever happened to me. I was given one big gift and that was Slovakia. I do love my country. Too much, I cannot even describe it.

I did not leave Slovakia. I will never leave Slovakia even I am away now. My home stays there, in the middle of the purest nature and wild forests. I regularly come back as much as I can and if anybody asks, I every time say that Slovakia is the best place in the world. 

I will come back. The time will come. I cannot say when because I do not know that. But my house will be built there, in Kopanice region, my children will be raised there and my life will be fulfilled there. In my homeland. 

I want to achieve a few career dreams before I may come back and be OK with myself. I have had to live my life at least in two different countries to be really thankful for Slovakia. I have needed to meet new cultures and different kinds of people, to let them later know how very welcome they will always be in Slovakia. I have wanted to show the world that Slovakian people are warm, welcome and happy. Maybe not all of them, but those (negative) people you can find anywhere in the world. 

I admit, Slovakia is not in the best conditions. However, I do believe strongly, this is going to be changed. My inner quiet, but strong, voice keeps telling me how worth is working for it, to prove how much Slovakian people care and want to change our country to be better. Yeah, I am speaking about our current political situation. Because, that is one of the last things which is not great about my little country. Without some bad people in our government, I could say that there is nothing in the world what makes any country better than mine. I sound as a quite hard patriot, don´t I? Well, if you know me, you know how much I love our planet Earth, you know that I do everything I can to make the life better for us and you might also know that there is no metre of our planet which I do not adore. Unfortunately, I am so upset about some parts of this planet and again, I do hope that is going to be changed as well. It just must!

I am thankful. The feeling I feel when I see even a video about Slovakia and its beauties, when I listen to Slovakian music, when I go to a folk festival during summer or when I just remember how great it feels to be at home. But, the feeling I get when I am actually travelling home, when I am in the High Tatras enjoying the view from mountains, when I can actually drink water from a river next to my dad's house, when I take a walk around any town in Slovakia, that is unforgettable. 

I remember how people looked surprised when they heard me to speak in Slovakian language. They thought I was singing. They kept saying to me how nicely my language sounds. And that is the same in Czechia. People smile at me when I speak to them in my language (we can understand each other ;-) and say how lovely and soft I pronounce words. The reason I write in English is to get you understand and also, it is a great practice for me. Nevertheless, I do use my language often and gladly.

New year's shopping II. (try on) // Dada's fashion

You may ask what the h**l I wrote up there but it actually means "hello" in Tamil language.

See, we have just learnt something interesting :-) But let's start with my actual post.

Today I have for you the continuing of the previous first part of this year's haul. The second part of my shopping took a part in Prague, in shopping malls Nový Smíchov and Arkády Pankrác, and at TK Maxx in Dresden, Germany.

I knew what I had wanted and needed:

• black high waist jeans/trousers
• a sweater (bonus)

I really wanted really high-waist jeans or trousers, so much. I do not care my butt does not look that good in it, I do not care that they are not that comfortable, I do not care most of the people would not wear them since this might be considered as too much. I do love them. And one small advice - jeans from Pull and Bear are made in a quite good quality, the shape stays the same after literally years of washing and the material feels good on your skin. Oh, they look just amazing.

The sweater I did not need that much. I mean, nobody really needs that kind of sweater I bought. But again, when I saw it on my way to pay, I fell in love with it. Without even looking at the price, I went to the changing rooms to try it. The security guys started watching me since I was probably too obvious :-D When I was walking back, he stopped by me and ask me how I was, if I liked the shop and so on. Since I was so happy from the sweater, I started to thank him and even make a bit of fun. He said the sweater is really for me, I am happy I misunderstood him. 

What do you say about those clothes? Too much?

• elegant/comfortable high waist trousers

Those, I needed. I cannot wait for spring/summer and start wearing them. And guys, there are so comfortable. I do not even know that I am wearing something. And the bow? Seriously, that is just perfection.

• elegant midi skirt

OK, not that much elegant but it reminds me Coco Chanel skirts with pockets on sides and the guy's style. I have been looking for something like this for ages, seriously I can count it for years. Maybe just two years, but you got the point. Actually, to get this skirt I had to travel. I found it in Stradivarius, could not resist from buying it, but they had just one in my size XS and the lady at the cash-point could not undo the scanner which protects clothes from stealing them. So, I had to leave the shop without the skirt. The next day, I went back and somehow the problem had been fixed and I could buy it and be happy forever.

• a cross body bag

This article is full of "too much". But I will tell you what - WHATEVER, I wear basic stuff all the time and with these kinds of details, I feel just so good while wearing my outfit. 

The same rule goes with this bag. I still, after a month of having the bag, touch "crystals" which were applied onto the leather. But do not worry, the leather has never seen or been on an animal. Also, you would not believe how big inside this bag has. You fit there pretty much everything you need, I was able carry there a bottle of water. Just a small one, but still, it does count, doesn't it?

• panties and a bra

Because what is wrong about it. Bra and panties are also pieces of clothes and for me, very important ones. I strongly require to feel comfortable and nice in my underwear even nobody sees it. This is just for me and I feel more confident while wearing nice panties and bra.

• tights

Because I am a lady (or I am working on to be one) and ladies wears tights. But, I made a mistake and instead of tights I bought leggings. I know, we do not have to even comment this. However I am happy with them because their long enough and there will not be many times when people could recognise the difference. So I had to come to the shop one more time and finally I bought the right item :-)

• shoes/boots

If you know at least a bit, you know that I do care about shoes. Oh gosh, how important is this piece of clothes for me. Probably the most important. So I will never have enough shose, even though, I am quite happy with the shoes I own at the moment. In numbers and quality, very well I can say. So these are just something different, super comfortable and the colour is just mine. The originality of those boots is screaming and yes honey, that is how I love it.

And we are here, at the very bottom of the article and I will just ask you - would you consider buying anything of those clothes and accessories of mine? Or have you liked anything a lot? Let me please, know, I am horribly curious!
