When I received the invitation for a breakfast with Mary Kay which took place one day before my leaving to Cyprus, I was thinking if I should go. To be honest, this was already the second invitation and I felt stupid to refused it again. The first one happened while I was in England, so I was not able to come. I said to myself that I would manage it somehow and accept it.
Firstly, I came there a bit late thanks to a traffic jam in Bratislava (our capital). And the second thing was - I did not know anybody. Let's be honest, I am not famous or popular, this blog is my personal diary and I do not make any money with it. And girls which were there were much more professional, they are successful (I googled some of them) and they knew each other. I thought they would start talking to me, they could have seen I was completely new there. Nothing like that happened. So I had started to smile at them, maybe they would have smiled back. Well, I did not find that out since nobody looked at me. I went for a toilet for a two minutes and I made a perfect plan how to make some friends there. When I came back, the company's presentation had started and so my plan failed :-D
The presentation was done really nicely, it was about launching new products and two girls tried their famous face masks during the meeting. I did not try, I wanted firstly but one girl was pregnant and she said that she would not be able to come again soon so I left it for her and did not say anything. Oh, did I mention that she was really beautiful? <3
The breakfast was a challenge for me. As a vegetarian, almost vegan (I write almost because I still eat milk or eggs sometimes, but not often and I am trying to avoid them as much as I can) I was not sure what I could eat. It was a bit awkward to ask them what is without meat so I tried to figure it out by myself. I was successful, I found some pepper spread which was sooo nice but they did not have a lot left. And the second thing I was sure was without meat was an omelette so I took that one. And fruit, I love fruit <3
I am sure they would advise me which meal was for "rabbits" (I call myself like that it sounds to me better than the vegetarian) but people usually react in ways I do not enjoy so I try avoiding people saying that I am the vegetarian.
Each of us received a bag with some new products for trying and later I got an e-mail with an opportunity to choose a few more products.
And that is going to be a main purpose of this post. I have already tried products I got from Mary Kay and if you interested how I liked them, keep reading.
EAU DE PERFUMES. In the beginning our cooperation, I had no idea that Mary Kay innovates perfumes. And not just that. They do not have only perfumes suitable for ladies, they also have perfumes which are great for gentlemen. And how are they?
Let's start with a perfume which I chose for Mario.
HIGH INTENSITY Eau de perfume was designed especially for gentlemen. To start with, I had a real complication to choose the best one, which would suit to Mario. He has his personal style of clothing and the same rule he likes to apply when it comes to fragrances.
The perfume water I got for him belongs to the family of amber oriental fragrances. He has been using one fragrance full of Amber and when I read that the fragrance should be in sweet tones, I knew this one would be suitable for him.
And I was right. The perfume water smells so good on his skin, they make a perfect combination. Mario is also happy with it, even he says it is something different than he used to use in the past. Well, that is the point of life... is it full of changes :-)

LIVE FEARLESSLY is my second fragrance from Mary Kay. Before I had a summery toilet water EAU SO CUTE, which is one of my favourite ones.

My new fragrance is gorgeous, it is difficult to describe it. But I am really going to try. It represents a woman to me. A woman, lady which is unique, knows her positives and uses them to succeed, is smiling but you see her as something more, she is strong, she would fight for her dreams, would go through anything and she would still have her chin up. She dresses as a lady all the time, she walks as a queen, her behaviour is like a princess has. She is a woman, beautiful woman.
Live Fearlessly is a perfume water, stays on my skin up to 4-5 hours. The bottle is nice, the design of it is posh that I love it.

HAND CREAMS LITTLE GIFTS from limited edition have been shocking for me.
There are two different fragrances:
- Vanilla berry (violet colour)
- Vanilla mint (green colour)
I use hand creams all the time as you probably know so far about me. My hands become cold quite often and those conditions dries them a lot. Can you even imagine how happy I was when the package contained also hand creams came?

About the effect:
Nicely spreadable and absorbable what I appreciate the most. I do not enjoy that greasy feeling on my hands. The creams moisturises for a while, I have to admit. I wash my hands, I do everything with my hands so after an hour or two, I need another line of it. There is one feeling which is completely new for me. My hands feel so soft and silky, I have never experienced this with any hand cream.
I cannot decide which fragrance I enjoy more. Mario likes the Vanilla berry flavour but the Vanilla mint fragrance is also beautiful. I will probably use them at the same time :-)
The conclusion is clear - the best hand creams I have ever had for sure <3
NAIL LACQUER from limited Autumn/Winter 2017 edition I have already tried, could not resist.
The colour I got is Rosé Blush 105979 and I see nude, purple-brown colour, perfect for winter time, nothing too shiny but something memorable. The thing I like a lot about this nail lacquer is that I can wear it with almost any type of clothes because the colour looks nice anytime.
The drying time:
- that is the worst nightmare for the waiting time. Why cannot they come with a nail lacquer which would be dry immediately? This nail lacquer was drying pretty quickly I must say, I almost did not have any time to destroy it. It takes about 5 minutes for the first layer to dry and about 10-12 for the second layer. I mean, completely dry that you can continue with your life :-)

BLENDING SPONGE is recognised for all of you I assume. I bought one blending sponge in England this spring and I have not used it by today and now I have the second one. That is a message I needed. I should start using them.
The sponge is soft for touch, a bit hard when is dry but do not worry about that, you have to wet it firstly. The make up application is really easy and comfortable. I like that the sponge is in a black colour. It will scream on me when the washing time will come.

EYE COLOUR PALETTE also comes from a limited edition Autumn/Winter 2017.
I used to have one problem. I missed an eye colour palette in nude and pinkish shades. I wanted to buy, I was hoping to spend some money for an Urban Decay eye colour palette Naked 3. Well, I have not bought it and that was a good thing. I finally own a palette with pink shades and with my other palettes I do not need UD anymore. For now :-D
I got ROSÉ NUDES 105973 shade. Do not mind the box a lot, when you buy it, you will get a nice box as you can see in the pictures on Mary Kay's website :-)
The pigmentation is unbelievable. Really. I am so happy because without a good pigmentation you cannot use pink shades properly and I do not enjoy "layering" eye shades.
The texture is also interesting. I am thinking how I should describe it... not wet, not dry. I have it. Creamy. Yes, that is the right description. Even the light one is creamy and they are non-dusty.
Amazing, looking forward to using it all winter time.

I was not using make up through all summer time, I had it just twice (my birthday and the time I was in Prague). But I am starting to miss my cosmetic table so there is a big possibility you will see a tutorial with new decorative cosmetics.
